Who can use AnalyseWorks

Size of business: AnalyseWorks is aimed at small and medium business, and departments of larger businesses
Type of business/Industry sector: AnalyseWorks is not industry specific - you just need well-structured data you want to analyse.
For example, the first three customers were from insurance, home removals and drug testing.
Top-down analysis: sales and performance reporting, financial perfomance, delivery against Key performance Indicators, test results, marketing campaign response, trends, general information etc.
Operational queries: identify specific items performing below acceptable limits, identify overdue or top customers to call or mailshot, identify exceptions for further analysis, highlight bad data entry.
What sort of person: To explore your data and define queries you must understand your data, and be basically computer literate (e.g. basic use of Excel).
People can also be defined as 'data users', they can run queries defined by others, little knowledge is required - even your boss can use it!
How many people can use it simultaneously?: There is no particular limit.
If many users are running queries on the same shared database then performance will be degraded.
There is no performance degradation if you are running queries in local mode.
What do I need to know about statistics?: Nothing
Percentages are about as hard as it gets, you can look at standard deviation if you are so inclined.
